- Go to your "Start" menu
- Go to "Settings"
- Go to "Control Panel"
- Go to "Display
- Click on the "Appearance" tab
- Click on the "Effects" button
- In the pop-up window, check the second box: "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts:" and from the drop-down menu select "ClearType"
- Click "OK" in the pop-up window
- Click "Apply" and then "OK" in the Display pop-up window
