Clerkship Information
- Judge Kelly employs three one-year clerks and has hired through the 2024-2025 term. Judge Kelly is currently accepting applications for the 2025-2026 term and beyond. He prefers to hire clerks with work experience, either as an appellate clerk or at a law firm.
Law students and alumni who have access to OSCAR should apply via OSCAR. Applicants without access to OSCAR may also send applications (consisting of a cover letter, resume, writing sample, law school transcript, and list of references, as a single PDF) to Kelly_Chambers@dcd.uscourts.gov. References may send letters of recommendation under separate cover to Kelly_Chambers@dcd.uscourts.gov. Please do not send paper applications.
Internship Information
- Judge Kelly also employs interns. Interns are required to work a minimum of 15 hours per week during academic semesters and 40 hours per week during the summer. Applicants interested in an internship may submit applications to Kelly_Internship@dcd.uscourts.gov at any time. Applications should include a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and undergraduate transcript.
