Standing Order

Clerkship and Internship Information

  • Judge Pan employs three one-year clerks and is currently accepting applications for the 2023-24 term.  For the 2023-2024 term, applicants in the Class of 2022 and earlier may apply at any time.  Applicants in the Class of 2023 may apply beginning on June 13, 2022.
  • Judge Pan will begin interviewing candidates from the Class of 2022 and earlier in April of 2022, and will interview members of the Class of 2023 in mid to late June of 2022.
  • Law students and alumni should apply via OSCAR.  For any questions concerning logistics, please contact  Applicants who do not have access to OSCAR may send applications to, but OSCAR is preferred.  Please do not send paper applications.  Clerkship applicants are required to provide the following information: cover letter, resume, writing sample, law school transcript, and three letters of recommendation.
  • Judge Pan employs interns for the fall, spring, and summer terms.  Interns are welcome to work in person or remotely.  They are required to work a minimum of 16 hours per week during academic semesters and 40 hours per week during the summer.  If applicable, interns also may receive academic credit for the internship.
  • Applications for internships in the summer of 2022 are closed.  Judge Pan is not yet hiring interns for Fall 2022.
