- Judge Mehta has hired through the 2027-2028 term. He plans to hire for future terms in accordance with the Federal Law Clerk Hiring Plan.
Internship Information
Judge Mehta accepts internship applications for the Fall, Spring, and Summer. Interested applicants should submit (as one file) a cover letter, resume, writing sample, and transcript to Mehta_Internship@dcd.uscourts.gov.
- Chambers reviews applications and hires interns on a rolling basis. Applicants interested in a summer internship should submit their materials by January 15th of the applicable year. For the spring, applications should be submitted by November 15th of the prior year. For the fall, applications should be submitted by June 15th of the applicable year.
- For summer internships, interns are required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. For the fall and spring, interns must be able to work a minimum of two days, or 16 hours, per week.
- If applicable, interns also may receive academic credit for the internship.
