Filing Fees and Online Payment Form

The payment of certain filing fees may be paid online via credit/debit card or bank account (ACH). If the ACH option is used, please pay close attention to your account information. If we receive a returned item, you will be charged a $53.00 returned item fee. Please see our Pay.gov online payment instructions here.

Eligible Fee Payments:

  • Filing Fee of Civil Case
  • Filing Fee of Notice of Appeal
  • Filing Fee of Petition for a Writ of Habeas Corpus
  • Filing Fee of Miscellaneous Case

The Filing Fee Request Form cannot be used for payments generated in CM/ECF. The Form can only be used to pay for filing fees that, until now, have been paid by mail, or at the intake counter.

The Filing Fee Request Form requires the following information in order to complete the request. Please have the information ready to ensure your request is processed accordingly:

  • Required for All Fee Payments:
    • Fee Type
    • Payer′s first and last name
    • Payer′s Address
    • Payer's Email Address
  • Required for New Civil Case, Petition for a Writ of Habeas Corpus, and Miscellaneous Case Payments:
    • Case documents must be submitted before or with the submission of this form
  • Required for Notice of Appeal Payment:
    • Case Number
    • Notice of Appeal

FILING FEE REQUEST FORM

  1. Once you have filled out the filing fee request form, click the “Submit Form by Email” button, this will open your default email application.
  2. Do not change the subject line of the email. You can put other information in the body of the email if needed.
  3. You must send the email with the form attached for your request to be processed.
  4. The intake Clerk will review your request and if there are no deficiencies, you will receive an email from pay.gov with your eBill.
  5. Follow these instructions to complete payment of your bill.
