Clerkship Information
- Judge Moss employs three one-year clerks and hires in accordance with the Federal Law Clerk Hiring Plan.
- Law students and alumni who have access to OSCAR should apply via OSCAR. Applicants without access to OSCAR may send applications (consisting of a cover letter, resume, writing sample, law school transcript, and list of references, combined into a single PDF) to Moss_Chambers@dcd.uscourts.gov. References may send letters of recommendation under separate cover to Moss_Chambers@dcd.uscourts.gov. Please do not send paper applications.
Internship Information
- Judge Moss generally selects three to four interns for the fall, spring, and summer terms. Interns are required to work a minimum of 10 hours per week during academic semesters and 40 hours per week during the summer. If applicable, interns also may receive academic credit for the internship.
- Chambers will begin reviewing applications for Summer 2026 on December 1, 2025. Interviews will be offered on a rolling basis until our summer intern positions are filled. Candidates are advised that we usually hire our summer intern class by the end of January. 1Ls are welcome to apply before they receive their first semester of grades, but they should plan to supplement their applications with their Fall 2025 grades as soon as possible. We will not make any offers to 1L candidates before reviewing their Fall 2025 grades.
Interested candidates may submit applications to Moss_Chambers@dcd.uscourts.gov with “Summer 2026 Internship Application” in the subject line. Applications should include a cover letter, resume, writing sample, and law school transcript, combined into a single PDF.
