Jury Lounge
The U.S. District provides a Jury Lounge for jurors to stay in during waiting periods between cases. The Court provides the following amenities in the lounge in order to make the jurors stay more comfortable:
- Quiet/Reading Room
- Internet Service
- Telephones
- Television Sets
- Reading Materials
- Restrooms
- Vending Machines
- Microwave Oven
- Refrigerator
Food Service
The courthouse maintains a full service cafeteria on the first floor annex. The cafeteria has an assortment of salad bar items, soups, sandwiches, hamburgers, daily hot entrees, and desserts. In the morning, breakfast is also served. In addition, several restaurants are within walking distance of the courthouse:
- Cosi (located at the corner of 6th Street and Indiana Avenue)
- Jack's Famous Deli (625 Indiana Ave. and 501 3rd St.)
- Delizique (next to the North Building at 601 Pennsylvania Ave--6th and C Streets)
- National Gallery of Art (across the street--corner of Constitution Ave. and 4th St.)
- Subway (501 D St.)
